We recently visited Chuck E Cheese and I almost forgot how expensive the place can be! You can easily drop $40 or $50 there for mediocre pizza and less than an hour of games. They seem to have loads of coupons flying around, so I’ve done a bit of research for you and have compiled my best Chuck E Cheese tips to follow!
Eat Before you go and bring in cups for water
Ok, I know this may be an obvious one, but I can’t stress enough how expensive and mediocre their pizza is! Save that money for all the game playing and pass on their food. We have been to Chuck E Cheese when employees are very reluctant to hand out water cups. Or the cups are teeny tiny two sip type cups. So definitely bring a refillable container for water for each person. If you must do food then….
Join the More Cheese Rewards Club
When you join, you get one free personal pan pizza. You also get 100 tickets on your kid’s half birthday month and I’m sure many other prizes.
Join the Chuck e Club
Yes, this is a separate thing than the More Cheese Rewards Club. I don’t understand why, but just go with it. Signing up for this on will get you emails and discounts not available on their website.
This is a pay app ($1.99/month) but has lots of discounts on food and Entertainment. They almost always have great Chuck e cheese Coupons, the same or better than the ads in the paper. On our visit, we got 100 tokens/points for $25 and split it with a friend.
Get 10 free tokens with Calendars and Rewards Charts
Lost a tooth? Made good grades? Did chores everyday for 2 weeks? Then you can get 10 free tokens just for printing and completing these reward charts/calendars. Just note that a food purchase is required and only one reward per kid is allowed.

If you must eat there, the buffet is a decent option. Kids 3 and under eat free and the buffet pricing over 3 ranges typically from $5-6.
